Photography Experiences: Behind the Camera

An intricate dance between culture and art, one that exfoliates the human soul down to its core to reveal pure essence and nirvana, THAT is Thailand. Thailand is that place you go to experience bliss beyond stress, flavor explosions from unforgettable food, and breathtaking moments shaped by jaw dropping temples and scenic views. I’m ecstatic to be able to share a piece of Thailand with you.

Wandering the endless valleys of Arizona's Mojave desert lost in thought and imagination. Pondering the father of all questions – what is life truly about?

Daunting is the vast land, yet, comforting is the quiet beauty that lies within. 

What a deformed, unstable, problematic structure some might think this is. I believe it is a symbol of reshaping and adaptation just as our intricate brains undergo neuroplasticity. The connections between the warping of the walls and the warping of our brains' neural connections to change what was considered “normal” into something completely different is symbolic.

Venturing out into Arizona, I built cairns in the Mojave Desert not only as a representation of balance amid the awkward curves life exerts, but also to exemplify how the mind and body settle once things aren’t swinging wildly and falling apart.

Surrounded by rich artist culture, I found myself enveloped by the beauty that is the Whitcomb Conservatory on Belle Isle Island in Detroit. Stepping foot into the garden, breathing in the fresh scent of vegetation, and watching the garden breathe back reshaped my perspective on what nature is truly about. This experience molded me like clay.

The city that never sleeps. New York is a jungle of concrete, yet stepping foot on this prairie shows why it's one of the most intricate pieces of art in the world. As the sun goes down, reflecting off the water, you see the silhouette of the city of dreams, icons, and so much creativity.
